Veracity Introduces New VPs!

Veracity Engineering is pleased to announce the promotions of Mr. Troy Rath to Vice President of Capture & Proposal Development and Ms. Rachel Seibert to the position of Vice President of Corporate Development, effective June 6, 2023! Mr. Rath and Ms. Seibert each bring unique strengths to their positions, and Veracity looks forward to their future accomplishments.

The promotions come as part of a corporate restructure which established Mr. Kent Starnes as Veracity’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Ivan Bekkers as VP of Programs, and Mr. David Stroop as VP of QMS, Security, Internal Audits & IT.

Veracity Wins New SETIS Task Order - ABP-300 Capital Programs and Budget System Support

WASHINGTON, D.C., April 10, 2023 – Veracity Engineering, LLC. announced today that the FAA has awarded Veracity the ABP-300 Capital Programs and Budget System Support Task Order under the agency’s Systems Engineering and Technical Innovative Solutions (SETIS) contract for small businesses.

Team Veracity will support the mission objectives of The Business and Programs Organization (ABP-300) which is responsible for acquisition program, business, and financial management oversight, among its other duties and responsibilities. The team will provide the organization with seamless access to expertise in the areas of business and financial management as associated with the Agency’s RE&D and F&E appropriations. Team Veracity will also support, manage, and maintain FAA Program Management Systems and Tools (PMST) and the Strategic Planning, Implementation, Reporting, and Evaluation (SPIRE) system.

Veracity Wins New SETIS Task Order - Cybersecurity, Configuration, and Project Management

WASHINGTON, D.C., April 7, 2023 – Veracity Engineering, LLC. announced today that the FAA has awarded Veracity the Cybersecurity, Configuration, and Project Management Task Order under the agency’s Systems Engineering and Technical Innovative Solutions (SETIS) contract for small businesses.

The Task Order will support the FAA Flight Program Operations group through the process of modernizing the agency’s fleet of Challenger jets. Team Veracity will assist in cybersecurity modifications and authorizations for the associated systems. The company will provide project management for the modification project and its associated operational, logistical, and automation requirements needs.

Veracity Wins New SETIS Task Order - Post-Departure Coordination and Airborne Negotiation

WASHINGTON, D.C., April 5, 2023 – Veracity Engineering, LLC. announced today that the FAA has awarded Veracity the Post-departure Coordination and Airborne Negotiation Task Order under the agency’s Systems Engineering and Technical Innovative Solutions (SETIS) contract for small businesses.

The award will support the FAA Next Generation Air Transportation Organization’s Technology and Prototyping Division by assessing the operational viability of advanced technologies, services, and capabilities. Under this award, Team Veracity will identify operational impacts of International Civil Aviation Organization standards and provisions in preparation and support of the planned National Airspace evolution. The team will achieve these goals through performing integration analyses and providing the NextGen Organization with strategic impact assessments, position papers, and various other responses to support the FAA and the international community through the regulatory process. 

Veracity Wins New SETIS Task Order - ANG Engineering, Operations, and Business Management Support

WASHINGTON, D.C., April 3, 2023 – Veracity Engineering, LLC. announced today that the FAA has awarded Veracity the ANG Engineering, Operations, and Business Management Support Task Order under the agency’s Systems Engineering and Technical Innovative Solutions (SETIS) contract for small businesses.

The Task Order provides engineering, operations, and business management support to the FAA NextGen, Portfolio Management and Technology Development Directorate. Under this award, Veracity will provide specialized technical and management support to include program and portfolio management, program and operational requirements development, enterprise architecture support, and enterprise initiatives planning and execution.  

 

Veracity Wins First SETIS Task Order - Earned Value Management Program Support

WASHINGTON, D.C., March 31, 2023 – Veracity Engineering, LLC. announced today that the FAA has awarded Veracity the first Task Order under the agency’s new Systems Engineering and Technical Innovative Solutions (SETIS) contract for small businesses. 

The Task Order award provides Earned Value Management (EVM) Program Support to the Acquisition Oversight and Reporting Division, AAP-400. Under this award, Veracity will provide EVM assessment support by ensuring the FAA Acquisition Management System EVM policy and guidance documents are executed and maintained. Activities also include EVM deliverable validation and acceptance, performing integrated baseline reviews, and providing EVM training.

 

Veracity Hires Ivan Bekkers as New VP of Programs

Veracity Engineering is pleased to announce the addition of Ivan Bekkers as our new VP of Programs. Mr. Bekkers is a visionary executive with extensive expertise in aviation management, travel technologies, operations management, and product marketing. Having started his career in the airline industry, working in revenue management and information technology, he then held senior positions with airline technology providers, initiating market entries in real time data analytics, flight status and data distribution, and new product introductions such as predictive flight status services. Since moving into the airspace management industry, he has led key efforts in supporting the FAA, NASA, and commercial aviation programs. Mr. Bekkers will oversee Veracity’s existing programs and seek new opportunities to grow our customer base.

Hai Tran, Veracity’s CEO says, “I have known Ivan for many years, and I am confident that his years of aviation experience as well as his management style and values will be a positive addition for Veracity.”

Mr. Bekkers holds Masters degrees in both Applied Economics and Business Administration from Northwestern University and the University of Antwerp. He lives in Ashburn, VA with his wife, with whom he enjoys traveling and home remodeling.

Veracity Wins New Task Order on SE2025

Veracity Engineering is proud to have won a Task Order on the FAA’s SE2025 Systems Engineering Program to support Aviation Weather Research. Veracity will provide program management support and NAS Enterprise Architecture for the weather research programs, and technical and program management support for the ANG-C61 Aviation Weather Research Program. Team Veracity will conduct research to identify how to improve weather observational networks and weather forecast models for low-altitude Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) operations. We are looking forward to continuing to support the FAA’s mission to provide the safest, most efficient aerospace system in the world.

Veracity Receives FAA SETIS Contract Award

The Federal Aviation Administration awarded Veracity Engineering a small business contract on the $2.27B Systems Engineering and Technical Innovative Solutions (SETIS) Program! This new portfolio replaces the SE2020 and SE2025 contract portfolios and will provide a broad range of services to help the FAA transform the National Airspace System (NAS) through the implementation of NextGen and related FAA programs. The contract portfolio’s planned period of performance is ten (10) years and will enable the FAA to continue streamlining operations with leading edge technologies.
