Quality Assurance Analyst

I. Position Overview:

Develops and implements quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines and procedures. Develops and defines major and minor characteristics of quality including quality metrics and scoring parameters and determines requisite quality control resources. Establishes and maintains a process for evaluating hardware, software, and associated documentation and/or assists in the evaluation. Conducts or participates in formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycle.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support ASP 210 in researching new software requests.
  • Manage and update Software Request ServiceNow tickets.
  • Support and maintain the Technology Roadmap.
  • Support the Change Manager and champion change management best practices.
  • Draft materials needed and prepare presentations/recommendations to the Enterprise Software Board (ESB). Document and communicate ESB review decisions.

III. Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Sciences (e.g., mathematics, physics, meteorology, chemistry, etc.), computer science, electrical engineering or information systems or related field.

Experience:

  • 2-6 years relevant work experience
  • 5 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Master’s Degree or MBA in related field may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree and 3 years experience.
