Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Software Developer with 2-6 years’ experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in web applications/user interface design, database access, private cloud deployment, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and generative AI. Additionally, familiarity with aviation safety risk management and quantitative safety risk analysis is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Web Applications/User Interface Design: Develop, design, and maintain responsive web applications that provide a seamless user experience. Collaborate with web application users to implement interactive and visually appealing interfaces.
  • Database Access: Design and manage robust database systems to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation. Implement data security measures and optimize database performance.
  • Private Cloud Deployment: Deploy and manage applications on private cloud infrastructure. Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security within the cloud environment.
  • Generative AI: Integrate generative AI technologies into applications to enhance functionality and user experience. Develop and fine-tune AI models for various use cases.

Requirements:
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related engineering field from a college or university with a degree curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).

Experience:

  • Software Developer with 2-6 years’ experience in web applications/user interface design, database access, private cloud deployment, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and generative AI. Additionally, familiarity with aviation safety risk management and quantitative safety risk analysis is a plus. (Refer to the job description provided for more detail)

Skills:

  • Proven experience in web application development and user interface design.
  • Experience with Vue and Nuxt for UI.
  • Experience developing with Java.
  • Experience with Red Hat Linux and Apache web servers.
  • Experience with Git and Jira.
  • Expertise in database management and access technologies.
  • Experience with AWS Postgres Database servers.
  • Experience with private cloud deployment and management.
