Veracity Engineering has an exciting opportunity for Administrative Assistant (Entry Level ). You will provide expertise in general clerical, secretarial, receptionist, word processing, filing and record keeping, and non-complex analysis. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Office 365, and other general-purpose business management software, etc. Performs administrative and management support services for a wide range of office functions. Provides administrative support in the management of personnel, financial, operations and technical programs. Requires substantial coordination and interfacing with other offices).

The Candidate will provide administrative support to customer supervisors, managers, and staff in supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with the upkeep and closing of tickets within the IT Remedy ticketing system. The Candidate will apply established rules, policies and procedures in carrying out all administrative and/or non-technical functions, including completing shipments, deliveries and receive equipment, throughout all the FAA facilities, as well as accept and transfer equipment through tracking systems

1. Position Overview:  

  • Veracity is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. In this role, the candidate will be the go-to person for all employee-related issues, functioning as an employee champion, talent driver, and strategic partner to leadership. 
  • The candidate will manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, benefits administration, and offboarding, while ensuring our workplace remains compliant, inclusive, and highly engaged.

2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program that sets new hires up for success and integrates them into the company culture.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to both employees and management, mediating conflicts and handling disciplinary processes with fairness and confidentiality.
  • Manage the annual performance review process, assisting managers with any issues.
  • Identify training needs for teams and individuals and help or source professional development programs.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
  • Partner with brokers to evaluate and select competitive benefits packages during annual open enrollment.
  • Monitor market trends to ensure compensation remains competitive.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management by monitoring and implementing applicable local, state, and federal labor requirements.

  • Maintain and update the employee handbook, HR policies, HR process, and procedural guidelines.
  • Support the finance team during the company’s yearly audit by preparing and providing accurate, timely HR reports and compliance documentation.
  • Manage HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data entry and maintain accurate, confidential employee records.

3. Requirements: 

Education:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is highly preferred.


Experience
:  

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in management or generalist roles.
  • Experience in government contract staffing preferred

Skills:  

  • Strong research skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to deliver accurate, customized reporting. Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Adobe.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP).
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and regulatory compliance.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to handle sensitive information with absolute discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
