Veracity Engineering has an exciting opportunity for Administrative Assistant (Entry Level ). You will provide expertise in general clerical, secretarial, receptionist, word processing, filing and record keeping, and non-complex analysis. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Office 365, and other general-purpose business management software, etc. Performs administrative and management support services for a wide range of office functions. Provides administrative support in the management of personnel, financial, operations and technical programs. Requires substantial coordination and interfacing with other offices).
The Candidate will provide administrative support to customer supervisors, managers, and staff in supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with the upkeep and closing of tickets within the IT Remedy ticketing system. The Candidate will apply established rules, policies and procedures in carrying out all administrative and/or non-technical functions, including completing shipments, deliveries and receive equipment, throughout all the FAA facilities, as well as accept and transfer equipment through tracking systems

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide office support and prepare documentation using various data systems and/or software including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access), time entry system (i.e., CASTLE), government travel system (currently E2 Solutions), and other document management and data management systems as directed (PRISM).

Provide management and support for software and/or hardware procurement, installment, maintenance, tracking, and disposal. Possess knowledge and utilize the AITS (Automated Inventory Tracking System) and KSN (Knowledge Services Network) sites daily for upkeep of inventory.

Management of enterprise or specific licenses and contract governing the use of those software or hardware assets. Maintain files, records and logs showing the status of actions and correspondence. Ensure that routed document packets include all required documents and that all documents are signed, approved and/or reviewed. Perform file maintenance assuming responsibility for the accuracy of the filing.

Supply management to include ordering and tracking supply levels, compiling requests from team for office supplies, etc. Provide logistics administrative support for converting historical documents into electronic into a searchable format, for importation into a digital archival system. Additionally, provide support to ensure that customer content meets criteria for content accessibility, preservation of information, re-usability, validation, and tracking as defined by the customer.

Requirements:

Ability to apply techniques peculiar to several unrelated functions, such as statistical charting, property management of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), organizational structure, planning, budget and fiscal control, personnel recruitment and placement, data systems, staffing standards development and office management.

1-4 Years of relevant work experience.

Proficiency in the MS Office product suite
