Proposal Manager
Location: Washington, DC (In Office – Veracity DC)

Position Overview
As a Proposal Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the entire proposal process from start to finish, including proposal development, project management, team leadership, quality assurance, client/teammate interaction, and process improvement. You will participate in proposal efforts on behalf of Veracity Engineering through the proposal process for government and commercial customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review solicitation documents and determine key proposal artifacts
- Develop and manage proposal schedules for writing, reviews, and production based on submission deadlines
- Create templates and outlines to assist writers in developing compliant responses
- Incorporate and format written responses from data calls into formal review documents
- Track schedules and progress to ensure deadlines are met
- Review draft proposal responses to ensure win themes and strategies are incorporated
- Write original content including:
- Executive Summaries
- Company qualifications/capabilities
- Past performance sections
- Resumes
- Marketing-related materials
- Maintain Veracity’s CRM/Opportunity Pipeline
- Review proposal drafts for readability and compliance while preserving author intent
- Conduct interviews and collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure comprehensive and compliant responses
- Assist with capture plans and gate review presentations
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, engineering, or related field preferred
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience with the Shipley Process for Capture and Proposals
- Experience managing group/team responses for IDIQ and Task Order proposal efforts
- Experience with CRM/Opportunity Pipeline management systems
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe products
- Understanding of the FAA and National Airspace System is a plus
- Understanding of Cybersecurity and/or Engineering is a plus
Skills
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to analyze federal RFPs and outline all stated requirements
- Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and process-oriented skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage complex workloads in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to research government and GWAC sites for:
- Upcoming opportunities
- RFPs
- Market surveys
- Drafts
- Bid announcements
- Technical proficiency with proposal software, document management systems, Microsoft Office, and Adobe tools
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and support a growing organization
