Senior Contracts Manager

1. Position Overview

Veracity is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager with strong Federal Government contracting experience to support and oversee contract administration activities across multiple FAA and federal programs.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of government procurement regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS), and subcontract administration within complex prime/subcontractor environments.

This role will support cradle-to-grave contract management activities, including proposal support, contract negotiations, task order administration, funding modifications, subcontract management, compliance oversight, and coordination with program management, finance, and executive leadership.

The successful candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced government contracting environment.


2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage cradle-to-grave administration of federal government contracts, task orders, modifications, and subcontracts.
  • Review and interpret FAR, AMS, contract clauses, solicitations, task orders, and customer requirements.
  • Support contract negotiations with prime contractors, subcontractors, and government customers.
  • Prepare and review:
    • Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
    • Teaming agreements
    • Subcontract agreements
    • Consulting agreements
    • Contract modifications
    • ATPs (Authorizations to Proceed)
  • Track funding, ceilings, POPs (Periods of Performance), and contract deliverables.
  • Coordinate with Finance regarding:
    • Invoicing
    • Funding modifications
    • Contract value tracking
    • Indirect impacts
  • Support proposal and pricing efforts, including data calls and subcontractor coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with:
    • FAR
    • FAA AMS
    • Subcontracting requirements
    • Limitations on subcontracting
    • Internal policies and procedures
  • Interface with CORs, COs, program managers, subcontractors, and executive leadership.
  • Support onboarding and contract-related compliance requirements for employees, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Maintain organized contract files and ensure accurate contract documentation.
  • Assist with risk assessment and contractual issue resolution.

3. Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Contracts, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience

  • 8+ years of Federal Government contracting experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • FAR
    • FAA AMS
    • Federal subcontract administration
    • Task order management

Skills

  • Experience supporting FAA contracts strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing prime and subcontractor relationships.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Funding modifications
    • Labor categories (LCATs)
    • Contract ceilings
    • Periods of performance
    • Contract compliance
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating contractual terms and conditions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
